The Road Angel range are famed for there easy
to use controls and clear information display system from the Road Angel
Classic, through to the latest Navigator 6000 product. The GPS speedtrap
detectors all have a LCD panel which gives a easy to read warning when
approaching a Gatso speed camera or confirmed mobile speed trap sites.
There will be a visual warning on the LCD panel and an audible warning
in the form of a beep or a digital voice.
The Road Angel products were first introduced
to the market in 2002 and since their launch have had a huge effect
on the radar detector, speedtrap detector and GPS navigation market.
With a high level of build quality and a regularly updated database
along with a long list of features has ensured that the Road Angel range
has remained at the forefront of Speedtrap and navigation technology.
We have highlighted the Road Angel range to
help you choose which device is best for your application.
Angel Navigator 7000
The Navigator 7000 is new from Road Angel and is all you need as its
a 2-in-1 device sporting an easy to use Sat Nav intergrated with Road
Angels safety alerts database. You can use it as a Sat Nav to get you
where you want to go, or you can use it just to alert you of speed cameras,
accident blackspots and other common hazards you may face on the road,
enabling you to drive safer.
Road Angel Navigator 6000, The latest Sav Nav and GPS speed
trap detector to arrive on the market from Road Angel. The Road Angel
Navigator 6000 is a natural progression from the Road Angel Navigator
with many of the same features enhanced for this newer version. Again
the GPS speed trap database is incorporated into the Navigator 6000
as well as a rechargable battery with up to 4 hours of use possible
when used on battery alone. The Navigator also incorporates an MP3 player
and image viewer.
Road Angel Plus, With its internal rechargeable
battery this is an extremely popular device as it does not require a
lead being plugged into the cigarette lighter of the vehicle or a power
source being hard wired into the vehicle. Simply put the Road Angel
Plus in the car and off you go, but dont forget to charge the battery
beforehand. The Road Angel Plus is the best product if you have more
than one vehicle as it can be easily swapped from car to car because
of its own battery supply, which lasts for approcimately 8 hours between
charges. The Road Angel Plus also offers front and rear laser detection
built into the device.
Road Angel Navigator, the Road Angel version from
the wide range of GPS satellite navigation or Sat Nav GPS devices available
on the market, offers Satellite Navigation and GPS speed Camera Detection
all in one package. With its easy to use touch screen navigation system
the Navigator offers a wide range of features all in one device. The
navigation system is backed up by the Road Angel speed trap database
to make your planned journey safe as well as telling you how to get
Road Angel Compact, featuring advances on the New
Road Angel the compact offers similar features in a smaller and cheaper
package. As this device is smaller than the New Road Angel the screen
is also smaller but this is a small price to pay as it comes with extra
features and its compact size allows for a smaller footprint on your
dashboard. A optional laser detection module can also be purchased for
the Road Angel Compact.
New Road Angel, with its large blue screen (which
turns red) and big buttons the New Road Angel was far easier to use
than anything on the market when it was launched again quickly establishing
it in the speed camera detector market. This ease of use coupled with
the GPS speed camera detection and a new built
in laser detector with front and rear protection giving warnings of
mobile speed traps, made this the market leader very quickly.
Road Angel Classic, this was the first product
lauched in the Road Angel range and because of this it now looks a bit
dated. With limited features compared to many of the new devices, when
the Road Angel Classic came out it was far superior to anything else
on the market at the time, this quickly established the Road Angel name
as the speed camera detector to have. This device was also befriended
by the motorcycling community due to there being a motorbike fitting
kit available for this product.
